JULY – AUGUST - SEPTEMBER EVENTS
NEW SHOWS include Elvis Live - for the very first time Chris King sings with a new six piece backing band, Third Dimension comprises three well respected solo acts teamed up to form a great man band, Elton and Tina join forces for the first time, the sensational Simon Barter premieres at Nemesis and Beluga – the new melodic rock band launch themselves on the public!
NEW VENUES include Blue Wave Restaurant and Skylight Music Bar, Larnaca alongside old favourites like Fly Again Argaka, Pissouri Amphitheatre and Omodhos Tavern.
NEMESIS MUSIC HALL is located at St George Shopping Mall on the St George Cross Roads, Coral Bay Road, Paphos. It seats 200 people in lounge bar comfort and with air conditioning, a state of the art sound and lighting rig, has to be one of the best live music venues in town. There is ample parking and doors open at 8pm on show nights. Nemesis drinks are set at pub prices with soft drinks at €2, beer and wine €3, spirit and mixer €4 and cocktails €5. There is table and bar service and you pay as you go so no confusing tabs! The shows are followed by disco till late, when drinks prices will increase slightly after midnight. All tribute shows carry an €8 entrance charge and there is no charge for the disco. The very popular Open Mic Nights recommence on Sunday 18 July, with no entrance charge, to watch or jam with the Nemesis House Band.
THE COLOSSEUM Italian Restaurant, Paphos presents Pianoman once a month and different bands each month and with three course meals from €12, it has to be a bargain! The shows are upstairs and outside on the terrace so a little cooler than elsewhere in the summer.
